bio
Darcy is an interdisciplinary artist and educator in her hometown of Houston, Texas. Her immersion in visual art began at Houston's High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from the University of Houston where she studied under Paul Kittelson and Jillian Conrad.
Her work has been exhibited at the Art Busan international art fair in Busan, South Korea, The Williamsburg Art and Historical Center in Brooklyn, Valerina Galleria in New York, Form and Concept Gallery in Santa Fe, ARC Gallery in Chicago,The Museum of Human Achievement in Austin, the Contemporary Arts Museum of Houston, Nicole Longnecker Gallery, Fresh Arts, Box13 Art Space, Lawndale Arts Center, The Joanna, Domy Books, Skydive Art Space, The Foundry, Blaffer Art Museum, and the Matchbox Gallery at Rice University. She was a final nominee for the 2013 Hunting Art Prize and won 3rd Place in the Visual Arts Alliance 2015 Open Juried Exhibition.
